I cut my teeth racing Tamiya off road cars, great fun. I've had to virtually give up GW painting as the shaking doesn't bode well when painting small detail.

right top pics are SHQ metal 20mm on left, middle is a Britannia 20mm resin and right is SHQ metal. Wish I had got into 15mm before the 20mm stuff as lot easier to make, paint and store. But mainly I'm a warhammer wh'o're

Bottom 2 Stugs are from dragon armour, pre made pre painted stuff. Cost the same for one of those as the SHQ kit for the Stug. Got knocking about made and unmade a complete 4th SS Recon Regiment with armour support, also a 210mm Krugg artillery piece.

Lotion bottle is from the kids doll set and the coat hanger is from?!?!?!?

Sorry I missed this when you posted Twiz but I have to say .. AMAZING !!! The attention to detail is outstanding .. You sure must have patience on the painting front .. I'll be looking forward to see the German Solder finished and sitting on a shelf in my living room ..

You'll have to post some picks as you build / paint your next creations. Oh and I do have to agree with Masher .. would be great to get a few games in with you again .. Hopefully tonight on Zombies will be a start.

Like to say thanks for all the feedback from all of you. I started the "Churchill" and will post at various stages of the build.
I am waiting for the figure to arrive, so I can start on that. Hopefully it will turn out Ok. But if it turns out sh*t I wont be donating it.
I'll post a starting page with the "Churchill" tomorrow and update as I go along. Also when the figure arrives I'll post at what stages this is at. I hope this might be of some interest. But if it's not I'll be talking to myself
Oh, bye the way that is a photo of me as my avatar
